Refund Policy

1. Overview
SameApi operates a usage-based SaaS platform providing access to analytics data. Because our costs are incurred immediately upon data delivery, refunds are only provided in verifiable cases of service unavailability caused by SameApi. We do not offer refunds for change of mind or user error.
2. Free Plan for Evaluation
We provide a generous Free Plan specifically to allow users to evaluate the Service, test data quality, and verify integration capabilities before upgrading.
By upgrading to a paid subscription, you acknowledge that you have tested the Service and found it suitable for your needs. Therefore, no refunds apply based on dissatisfaction with data or features that could have been evaluated on the Free Plan.
3. Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions (Pro, Ultra, Mega) and overage charges are non-refundable except in cases of service downtime or non-functionality directly attributable to SameApi.
Once data has been delivered or API capacity has been provisioned, the service is considered rendered.
4. Service Disruptions
You may be eligible for a refund or service credit ONLY if:
- The Service was unavailable for a prolonged period (excluding scheduled maintenance).
- The issue is confirmed by our engineering team as an internal failure of the SameApi platform.
- The disruption was not caused by your misuse, incorrect implementation, or third-party connectivity issues.
5. Non-Refundable Cases
For clarity, refunds will NOT be granted for:
- User dissatisfaction with the data or results.
- Misunderstanding of features or documentation.
- Insufficient data volume for specific niche queries.
- Change of mind after purchase.
- Unused quota at the end of a billing period.
- Account termination due to violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
- Issues caused by the user's software, network, or incorrect API implementation.
6. Refund Requests
If you believe you have a valid claim under Section 4, please follow this procedure:
- Contact billing@sameapi.io from your registered account email.
- Include your account email, subscription details, and specific evidence of the service failure (e.g., timestamps, error logs).
- Our team will review your request against our system logs.
Submission of a request does not guarantee a refund. All decisions regarding refunds are at the sole discretion of SameApi.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future billing but does not generate a refund for the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until the end of your prepaid period.
